Mario Saenz Espinoza – Principal

Biomedical and Electrical Engineer with extensive management training from Carnegie Mellon University and Porto Business School.

Over more than 15 years he’s been working with medical devices both in the European and American markets. He has been through the entire process of creating companies from scratch: business planning, capital raising, investment management, strategy creation, product development, patenting, CE certification, FDA approval, marketing planning and managing teams in several different locations (United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain and United States).

With over 40 years of experience in the education sector, she has hands-on understanding and know-how on every single level of the educational service industry, and has an in-depth knowledge of the business and its many players and stakeholders like no one else.

Dr. Espinoza Lain holds a PhD in education, a MSc in educational management and a BSc in industrial engineering.

Gaston Saenz Bartorelli - Partner

Industrial engineer and business veteran with over 45 years of experience in founding, launching and managing startups and companies. He founded his first startup in Peru, and later on launched several companies in Costa Rica.

His vast industry experience has allowed him to create expertise in modelling and production —both for startups and regular companies.
